Be Prepared For Anything
Okay, so this may seem like a vague instruction right now so let us elaborate a little further: you must research beforehand on the place you are going to and be prepared for anything that can fall your way. Make sure you know how the climate and the weather are, so that you pack clothes accordingly. Pack accessories like umbrellas, swimming trunks, scuba gear, and raincoats as well. Try even to avoid them as much as you possibly can.
Carry Supplements and Medicines
You must carry a supply of your prescription medicines with you. Other than that, you should also bring some over-the-counter medicines like painkillers, anti-emetics, and anti-allergies as well.
The laws regarding prescriptions and medicines are different in each area, so it is best if you carry along some supplements well. For example, if you have trouble falling asleep, you can get some chamomile tea. There are many other herbal supplements you can carry for headaches, bloating, a bad throat, and many other ailments too.
Try to Get Some Exercise in the Mornings
When you are traveling, you seldom look beyond your adventures and your comfort. So in this scenario, thinking about exercise is almost forbidden.

You thrive on potato chips and cookies when you are on the road, and you eat the most questionable street food because you’ve heard great things about it too.
Even though you are traveling, keep in mind that it is always a good idea to be careful about what you eat. Stomach problems are some of the quickest issues to catch on to you when you are in a distant land because you are not used to the food that they eat. Try to sneak in some vegetables and fruits in your diet now and then. And if you’re traveling with friends, try to share some of the questionable food you eat instead of downing it on your own.
We cannot emphasize enough on how important it is to drink a lot of water. Keep in mind that you must carry a bottle of water with you at all times, no matter where you are. Since you will probably have to walk around and be physically active, a lack of water can cramp up your muscles and even take its toll on your skin.

Get Enough Sleep
Sleeping can be a little tough to get to when you are traveling, and this holds especially true for people who travel with friends. People often stay up all night talking to each other or just taking in their surroundings. And, even though it sounds like a wonderful thing to do, remember that you have to be up and about the next day, for which you need your sleep.
Of course, one of the most daunting obstacles to our sleeping schedules is the jet lag. If you have jet lag, you can try exercising or sleeping a whole day to get rid of it and then move on with your trip.
Splurge a Little
Sometimes we end up stressing ourselves out and compromising on our health because we are cutting corners to save money. Even though it is imperative to budget yourself well during a trip, you should splurge a little now and then to get a good experience and keep your mind and body in perfect shape. Treat yourself to an exotic spa day, or go on a shopping spree. After you spend little extra money, you might end up feeling more relaxed than before.
Open your Mind
Always remember that you are out to experience everything that the world has to offer and this experience might not come by again. Take the most out of every place you visit and everything you do. Be excited about the next day and enjoy as much as you possibly can.
